Kurt can tell when it’s going to be one of those dates, because neither of them can seem to stop staring at each other’s lips.
They’ve been dating for sixteen days - sixteen wonderful, heart-poundingly exciting days. Kurt Hummel has had a boyfriend for sixteen days. And now he really has to stop thinking about that, because he’s biting his lip to hide his smile and Blaine keeps staring at his mouth and then looking up quickly, like he hopes Kurt doesn’t catch him.
“I—”
“Do you—”
They both speak at the same time and Blaine laughs, ducking his head a little. Kurt doesn’t try to hide his smile this time. “You first,” he says, kicking his foot out under the table and feeling a tiny thrill when Blaine presses his foot forward too, tapping his shoe against Kurt’s.
“I was thinking… if you’re okay with it, we could just get ice cream or cheesecake and then go back to my house? I’m not really up for a whole meal, and I know you said you ate earlier—”
“Cheesecake,” Kurt says immediately, giving Blaine a toothy grin before closing his mouth. “Definitely cheesecake.”
